hey speed, do you know much about them? i have always been curious, do they toss the bike off balance any, i mean even the slightest and you would feel it in the twisties, i have always wanted to do it but i ride the mountail alot and would not if that is the case
They're made to handle a lot of horsepower like with nitrous, turbo etc so I'm pretty sure it won't flex. Plus the way it's designed, all the force is exerted directly on the centerline of the swingarm & motorcycle. BMW,Ducati, Honda & Triumph still use the single sided swingarm and there have been many Honda & Ducati150 plus HP Superbikes with those without any problems.

Here's a name I saw of a single sided swingarm METMACHEX from another post that Sup-uni did. It looks like a VFR swingarm.

i talked to greggs today and im sorry to say im thinking TO MUCH COIN. they said it would be at least six months before they could do it and it would be around 3000 to 3500 just for the swing arm. i dont know about you guys but thats a good chunk to throw at a second bike.

I agree. You can always pick up a used VFR swingarm and with some welding & fabrication skills, make it fit & work.

Ouch! Good suspension components and extra for that price tag.
