just picked up my second ninja - this ones a 2001 zx6r, lime green. it was dropped at low speed before i bought it, and im not sure if i want to go back to OEM decals, or custom decals, or none at all on the side fairings.. any input would be awesome.

Nice looking bike. Check ebay or www.tapeworks.com for decals.

 

Yeah, go with the crazy night flame decal. It's not that noticable gives it character.

 

before my first ninja got pitched in a ditch (98 zx6r) i wanted to paint it black with black pearl flames (ghost flames). personally i'd lean more toward paint and not decals. but the nice thing about the decals is when u get sick of them you can just heat em up and peel em off.

 

I like it but I think a more up to date decal design would do it justice. Maybe even consider paint that starts one color and fades into another. Justa n idea. Sweet looking bike no matter what you decide.
