I removed the decals I wanted 2 and there is the glue film still left (by the way..'06 special edition does not have clear coat over the decals on the Airbox section of the tank)... what is the best thing 2 remove the glue without harming the paint..nail polish remover...or something like that?

 

goo gone spray gel works good

 

**** that goo gone, it eats paint too, try some wd 40, itll take the gum off and not mess up the paint.

 

Ya, WD40, Alcohol or some Citrus Cleaner. Make sure to wipe it down with Alcohol also or you new decals won't stick. Did you know that WD40 was originally created for Stinkbait for fishing? Now it has a million & one uses.

I use 3M adhesive remover. It is clear coat safe, and you can get it at any parts store. It does not leave a residue either....
