REAR SETS???
has anybody bought these for 2005 zx-6r 636? which ones seem to be better and what are the advantages other than ground clearance? thanks

RE: REAR SETS???
If you are just using your bike on the street, I can't see any real advantage. On the track they will move your feet slightly up and to the rear of the bike to gain alittle more ground clearence. On the street this would make the bike even more uncomfortable. Most of the rearsets can also be made to have the reverse GP shifting that many like on the track.

RE: REAR SETS???
I bought the vortex adjustable rear black rear sets for my 05. they look better than stock, but thats about it. I droped my bike when i first got it and broke my stock sets. so i decided to go with after market instead of replacing the broking foot peg and i sold the remaning parts on ebay. I wish i would of just replaced the stock ones. the vortex don't retract when you are tring to move the bike around and have very sharp spins on the foot pegs so i definately wouldn't recomend them. Hope this helps you out.

RE: REAR SETS???
I actually like my vortex ones alot better, they feel more comfortable, and your foot stays in place w/ the grips....

RE: REAR SETS???
i've got the gilles rearsets.....i hear so many compliments on something that you wouldnt think people look at....the best thing is that they are adjustable and almost unbreakable...downfalls- the foot-pegs do not retract as mentioned and for someone like me, who rides on the back pegs, this can be awful painful when you bring your leg back up front....but after twice of banging your shin on the dam thing you will learn how you need to move...you can see a pic of them in my new *GALLERY*:D
