Hey guys sorry to get off the subject. But should i take my 06 in for the first service to the stealer (dealer) to have them do a entire check over of the bike? It's going to cost me like $85 to have them do it when it's time for the first service. Any sujestions?

It depends if you know what you are doing on your bike or not. The dealer I went to said all they check is the fluid levels, tighten the chain, check the cables, tire pressure and the valves if there is any ticking. The dealer told me it was a waste of money, so I skipped it, but I think when next season comes around Im gonna take it in and have them replace all the fluids after sitting all winter.

hey bro, no worries. but you should learn how to wrench on your own bike just in case something happens or you need to do some minor work... it'll save you money in the long run...

i learned on my last sportbike that the oil filter is crazy tight that first time. If you go to a Kawasaki or Honda and I think Yamaha dealer they sell a cap that fits over the end of the filter and you use a 3/8 drive ratchet or a wrench to turn the filter right off. Real easy!! The cap cost me less than 6 dollars.
