no spark

Default no spark

hello i have a 02 zx6r and i need some help i just replaced the motor and it will not run i have power
the bike turns over i have fuel i have no spark i have traced all wires and everything is hooked up but still no spark anyideas

First check the fuses. Then check the coils. Make sure that the plugs are seated in the plug wire. I once had a problem because I rushed, and didn't seat the spark plug in the boot.

i checked them and by seated you mean prssed and popped in 100 % right ..? what i ddi notice palying around was when i hit the starter there are 3 wires on the left hand motor cover and behind there i am assuming the charging system or something as thats what it look like when you get behind there but when i was turning the bike over none of the 3 wires showed power when being tested with a tester could this maybe be something ....?

Sorry man. You gotta start at the batt, go to the switches, and work from there. My dad had a motorcycle with a short in the kill switch wires took him like a week of cursing, and throwingstuff at the wall of the garage to finallyfigure it out.
