You're kwazy... :D

Seriously, I've never played with NOS on a bike, I know it's been done, but I know I'd never do it. Good luck man.

don't have a system on my bike, but I know a 50 shot does wonders without needing to do anything internally to the motor.

Curious on why you would want NOS on a 636? Doesn;t have enough power for you or what? Dragin the bike or Street racing?

RE: Nitrous on ZX-6R 636 model

i've had alot of my friends who mostly ride 600's ask me why i would want Nitrous on my bike.... and the simple answer to that is to have a machine like no one else has......i've only seen 2 bikes that were 600's w/ nitrous and they were in magazines... i just want something different.....and i believe that a 636 would make one hell of a sleeper cuz no one thinks about nitrous on a 600... my thing is being able to pull up to anyone and blow there ass away. I guess its more of an ego thing that i've got goin on....i always have to be the fastest or have something that no one else has...i believe a 600 w/ nitrous would turn ALOT of heads. People always say "A.j. why dont you just get a 1000?" my answer is " insurance will be too high, and then i would be just like all the other guyz w/ 1000's it'd be stock and fast" But the thing about nitrous is that it takes alot of life and wear on your engine..... but thats only if you use it all the time and i would really only use it at the track and maybe once in a while on the highway. Plus i want to go 200mph. my fastest yet is 180. My friends always say 'a.j. your crazy man!, but i live for speed....theres just something about goin 180....and its still not fast enough for me haha...i guess i just won't be satisfied until i'm going Mach II w/ my hair on fire haha....anyways thats my reason for wanting nitrous......so hopefully this answers your question

Fair enough. I personally think it is a death wish but that is your choice. I don't know of any systems here but good luck with the search

A few things to keep in mind about nitrous on a bike. 1) The higher the RPM when using NO2, the higher the risk of instant catastrophic engine failure. 2) The lower the RPM when using NO2, the more direct damage done to the piston rings. 3) It's probably one hell of a ride, lol.

But in all seriousness, for every second NO2 is shot into the engine, you're shaving about 500 miles of life from the engine. If the bike is say only a weekend or track bike and you don't intend to keep it for many years, then maybe NO2 is for you...

If I ever take my engine apart for a rebuild, I'll have it bored out to a 700 or as big as I can and go back in with forged pistons and other high rpm goodies. AJ, which bike did you go 180 on? Not your 600/636?

the 200mph club is definatly a feet. firstoff, you will need to change the gearing, b/c the 636 won't get there on stock gearing. i'd be suprised if you got to 180 on stock gearing. also remember your speedo is off from the factory. you will need a gps unit to get a accurate reading.

164 was the best the magazines could do with this bike. I have mine re-geared -1/+2 with a speedo healer and I top out at 160 top gear at the rev limiter. gives liter bikes a second look when they don't reel me in as fast as they thought they would(some don't even reel me in)!
