okay i am like[sm=boosign.gif][sm=lame.gif][sm=WTFsgign.gif][sm=boohoo.gif][sm=chairshot.gif]

i don't know what the hell i did wrong but it isn't the connection to the spark plugs nor is it the gap or how snug they are....i even recharged my air filter made sure every damn plug in the stupid bike wasn't loose and even made sure that i had everything connected...

for some reason i don't know why but the bike isn't even combusting but is still trying to start...

but there is one thing that is troubling me....on the label on the spark plug, the old ones say ngk and right below it says R but the same ones...the cr9eix just says ngk and not ngk with an R??? does that mean something, and i checked that the spark plugs don't have any caps on top that would be keeping the plug from getting connected to the coil...

i am going to have it towed to the bike shop...and have them deal with it...

A loose plug wouldn't prevent it from starting but a loose battery terminal, especially the negative cable would prevent starting.

well come to think of it...when i go to put the screw into the negative side of the battery...i have to take something to wedge the little threaded piece of metal inside up so the screw can hit the threads...it leaves a gap between the bottom and the top...

EDIT: After reading your post i went to see if when i turn my key on if the pciii would do its thing, you know with the lights to show it is starting up....but i don't see that happening it is like dead or something...i then look at the battery...maybe i am not grounding or something...

i have a tender kit aswell as a pciii now the pciii only needs to be grounded while the tender kit has not only to be grounded but needs to the positive side aswell, well i checked the plugs for the pciii and they are installed correctly...

on another note, when i cycled through my tach i saw my trip was 0.0 but my time was okay and my overall mileage was okay, but i drove 50 miles before on the same tank before i switched the plugs!!!

Maybe the PCIII wires aren't connected to ground? You can fold a small piece of zip-tie and place it under the battery post nut t hold it up permanently. I think you may have blown your ECU fuse due to a loose connection and that is why it's not starting. Check all your fuses.

i will check my fuse tomorrow...to late tonight, i took the spark plugs and had them in the coil and all the connectors connected to the coils and all plugs fired in the correct order....i will probably say that it is an electrical problem and nothing else causing this error in starting...also, it could be that yes the ecu fuse is broken...but wouldn't the FI light come on??? the fi light never came on until i went to test the spark plug sparking tonight...

if it is a stupid fuse i will be soo pissed that i spent so much time trying to get it to start...ohh well it is a learning experience atleast i am learning about how my bike works so in the future i won't have to rely on my bike shop that loves to charge me 50 bucks an hour!!![:@]

okay so i am taking it over to the bike shop....i even thought that the battery was failing under load...well it didn't help much still wont start....but i know it is a grounding issue or something, because when i hit and hold the starter the headlights well turn off, and then come back on after i let go of the start button!!! which tells me the power is going somewhere and it's sapping the power off of the battery but not doing anything, kindof like a loose wire or grounding on the frame before it hits something....

What did they find out? Sounds like a bad battery or loose or bad/ corroded battery connections.

Good idea; let someone who knows what they're doing check it out. Let us know what they find out.

Just disconnect he PCIII and remove it then put the bike back with the stock connections. It should start & run. Are both the PCIII positive & negative terminals on tight?
