neeed help quick...
okay well i rechecked the gaps...they seem good, i checked the holes to make sure no debris, i checked to make sure all my fuel injector plugs, all my air box plugs, all my stick coil plugs are all installed correctly, even made sure the fuel line was attached all the way...charged the battery all night on a tender kit, even rechecked and triple checked plugs and such, but still the lights are on but no one is home...the old plugs looked like they where all broken and stuff so i switched them out...still nothing...even checked the grounds to make sure they where all intact...
i am thinking of having this bike hauled over to the bike shop in my area and see if they can figure it out becuase i spent my whole stupid memorial day weekend trying to get this bike started....
i was wondering if it could be a vapor lock...i know the fuel return hose should be working but from what i can see the bike sounds like it wants to start...

Be careful not to get the PCIII connectors mixed up. We had one racer who swapped one secondary injector connector with a primary connector and he blew up his motor! Spark plug gaps of that little tolerance won't make it not start. Look elsewhere. Get a Manual and Start Over. Double Check everything. It's probably something simple you're overlooking.
well they don't seem to be messed up...i really don't know what it could be...i even had them tighten the plugs to 10 foot lbs which is what it said in the manual...the only other thing i can think of...is that the battery isn't working correctly....how could i find out if my battery is working correctly??? should i take it out???
i have had that battery since i bought the bike in nov. of 2005

so what brand do you recommend...and do you think that if i replace my battery it will maybe work???
furthermore, if it is say like a vapor lock what should i do to counter it???
does the coils when i take them off have to go in order?? i mean if i take the rigth coil off does it matter if i put that same coil on a different plug???

Was the spark plug insulator that stick inside the head/ engine cracked or the part that sticks above? Let us know what you discover. Do you have enough gas in the tank? Just checking.
okay i think that when i was putting the tank back on...i maybe wiggled loose the battery plug!!! becuase when i went to take the battery out and then put it back in...i pushed on the plug and it clicked faintly...i also went back through and made sure that the spark plugs had atleast 10 foot lbs torque on them....i then made sure the coils were put in far enough...now i am waiting on my air filter to be recharged to start the bike...just taking extra precautions...besides if it doesn't start after this it will really start scratching my head...it was the bottom that was cracked alittle...nothing big...and it wasn't cracked on the coil connector side either...
if it starts it would have been just a loose plug that kept it from firing i would be soooo embraced...[sm=imsorry.gif][sm=sorry.gif][sm=massbounce.gif]
