So I just got a Power Commander III for my bike...now I need to decide on an air filter. KN, BMC and Pipercross is what I have it down to...the question is: are the BMC and Pipercross worth the extra 20 bucks, and in terms of installing them, do any require any modifications or do they slip in as a replacement? I don't mind it either way, but I just wanna know how much work is involved. Let the suggestions begin...

Oh yeah - word on the street is i am going to lose quite a bit of gas mileage...is this true? and what kind of loss in gas mileage did you experience if any at all? And there is a DYNO place around here...whats the difference between a custom map and the ones on the website you can download? I'm sure this has been covered before but it's 3 AM and I should be studying for my medical boards haha. Thanks.
