INSTALL POWER COMMANDER
 

HOW TOUGH IS IT TO INSTALL A POWER COMMANDER AND SHOULD I CONNECT THE SPEEDO HEALER AT THE SAME TIME. I'M NOT REAL GOODWITH ELECTRICALS.

um it took me 10 mins. the hard part is disconnecting the injection connectors because its such a small space to get your hands into. but to install its eays as anything out there. i thought it was easier than putting on the slip on lol

Ya mine only took me 15 min as well.. the connecters were being bitches and i ended up having to cut a wire and tap it into a diffrent wire cause mine was getting interfereance from somethign else which pissed me off but it works great now!

what is a speedo healer and do I need it if I am doing a slip on exhaust and power commander?? Thanks. Sorry if its a dumb question but I am new. Thanks

The Speedo Healer corrects the speedometer error on our bike wich can be off by as much as 15% optimistic. You are actually going slower than indicated and showing &putting on more miles that actual. It costs about $95. Let me know, I have a new one in the package ready for $85 shipped.

Speedracer do you still have that speedo healer? i might be interested in taking it off your hands as soon as i get payed.

Why is the speedo off by so much? Does this happen from changing the sprockets only? Such as +2 in the rear and -1 in the front?

My speedo is now spot on according to GPS. The gears changed it 11% but even then it was still 7% off. So overall correction is now at 18% on the speedo healer. Great mod to know exactly how fast you are going.
