i want to remove the lower half of my tomour...i mean fender and i was wondering what everyone does with the id light wire. do you or can you just un-plug it from the fuse box or whatever. i REALLY don't wanna cut any wires because my last bike's wiring was all butchered up and i hated that. any help is greatly appreciated. oh and i was also window shopping for exhaust, akra and 2 bros are lookin good, now i just gotta ask santa nicely....

 

You are just talking about the reflector right? If so, there are no wires to it.

crap i just cut mine off with a hacksaw[:@]. the light i was thinking of is the license plate light. i really don't wanna cut any wires on my new bike as i have mentioned. can you just trace the wire to the fuse box and yank it out? i also gotta check out the jumper mod idea. more ponies are ALWAYS better

 

ah, I was thinking the front fender. I normally just tape up the molex connector and tuck it in around the back of the tail section.

 

You'll have to take-off the rear plastic, but I just wound mine up into a little coil, and used a small zip-tie to secure it.

 

so you can just unplug the wire from the light then? ie molex connector (sorry i have never heard that term b4...i'm canadian eh lol) that would be sweet, then i could lose an extra 3"-4" of rear fender

 

you should be able to unplug it from under the rear section, i havent had the opp to hack on a 07 yet so ya know
