I was just wondering what kind of horsepower other people had. My '06 636 has 109.84 with standard correction factor. I have just a slip-on yosh and bmc air filter. The air filter gave me almost 3 hp from before and after the test!! Post your bike and mods and how much hp its got. Make sure you include the correction factor from the dyno cause that determines how to compare yours to others.

 

my 00 r1 that I ride on the street came in at 145. I am thinking that the newer zx10, r1, and gsxr are coming off the show room floor with 160.

For twisties that’s all the power I will ever need. Bikes with 175-200 really can only use that power at the drag strip.

 

I got 107.6 from mine with a FMF Slip-on, Stock Filter & PCIII on a Dynojet Dyno (The newest model).

What type of dyno did you use?

I have seen mutiple test on the 636 and they all put the rear wheel hp between 108.2 and 108.5 hp but they are all consistent. I haven't dynoed mine yet but I will get base numbers before the summer ends on the local DynoJet.

 

Mine is an 03. The 04's & especially the 05/06's have bit more horse power. At least 5+.

 

Mine - 04 ZX6RR (600cc) totally stock on 92-93 octane = 104.24
Hubby - 04 ZX10R (1000cc) totally stock on 92-93 octane = 157.8

I was pleased with what I got on my 600 since it's totally stock. I have changed the air filter and the spark plugs since but I really am not trying to get any more hp. I have plenty the way it is!

 

my bigwheel has aprox. 2 leg pwr @ the front wheel. So that is like 1 leg pwr for every 105lbs. I will test it after i get to test ride it nude. Im hoping to get atleats 3 leg pwr @the front wheel. Thats before the Nitrous sack is used. I just dont like to use it to much.
