for those who bought theirs brand new from the dealer... how much did you pay out the door? did they throw anything in with it (ie helmet, jacket, etc)

just curious to see how good a deal im actually getting (not that i think its to great a deal, but still)... for my new 06 im buying soon.

Just picked mine up friday night ........... I live in PA so I got hit with 6% and inspect & tags - Dropped 9500. WORTH EVERY PENNY !!!!!

 

thanks, they quoted me over $10k and i told them the most i would pay would be $10k... which he said shouldnt be a problem.

they have all these bullsh*t fees like assembly, freight, and all the other crap as well. And same 6% tax here.

 

I just purchased mine yesterday, total cost out the door (with a lame helmet) was $9050 roughly. No sales tax where i live so that was nice.

mine was 9600 otd. i went back a few days later and bought a helmet for 1/2 off and the guy threw in a tour master jett jacket for free, so i scored on that deal.

 

I bought an 05 last year in August at the end of the model year for $7,900.(They were tryin to make room for the 06s) Nothin with it but couldn't pass up that price

 

I went to a dealer in NY talked to a guy for about an hour...came back a month later, and told the guy I wanted to do business with only him, he remembered me, quoted me a price of 7600, helmet, gloves and jacket were all 50% off, after all said an done (tax, registration), spent roughly 8500-8600...cant complain at all

 

mine was 8500 otd....
