Whats up folk i just wanted to know whats the most mileage you get outta a full tank and how many miles do you get to the gallon. The reason i ask is cuz i gotta 96 ZX6R and it dont got no gas gauge. So i know im outta gas when that sucker cuts off.So far i have gotten about 180 miles on a tank and i was riding semi hard so i dont know.

 

I get about 130-140 out of a full tank.(that is when the fuel light comes on) I never ran it dry. Im sure i can get alot more but i dont like to risk it.

 

I average between 150-160 miles per 3.5 gallon (which is when the light comes on leaving 1.3 gallon) If I really wanted to cut it close I could get about 200 out of her. She is mechanically stock for now, I am putting on basically the same setup as gotrice so expect to get about the same mileage come then....

 

I get about 150 when the light comes on. I live on the coast, I bet elvation, and how hard you twist the throtle has a factor in the mileage.

 

I get about the same 130-140 on the street. 150 on the freeway. Before the light comes on. I don't like to run it dry either. I don't want to be stuck somewhere I don't want to be. Specialy on the freeway. I hate to see bikes on the side of the freeway. If I see a rider on the side, I always stop to see if they need help.

 

thanks for the feedback that helps me out tremendous now i got an idea of what to expect.Im living so old school my bike dont even got a gas light. LOL but im still lovin the damn thing. I might get a gauge wired up or something anyhow thanks my people

 

I get 160-170 before my light comes on, then I just make sure I don't go more then 20 more miles before I fill her up again.
