I just added mine to the overflow bottle.....When the bike gets hot then cold, etc, it circulates through the overflow anyway...

And my rad cap is a pain in the A to get to!!

First things first these bikes are supposed to go into those numbers when ridden at slow speeds, I also get the 220s and 230s as well here in Barbados when I ride the traffic plus I have sun all year round, so for me it can be a bit uncomfortable. However please take note th at things happen very fast on sportbikes as my riding buddy took a fall on our Sunday morning ride just by looking down at the gauge as he complained that his bike was overheating. Needless to say it was a real bummer, but at least we were riding slow......and this minimised the damages, so take care not to look at those gauges too often.
