Default High Octane Boost????

Anyone use this, My bike stutters when i first start riding and then it usually goes away later. It also doesn't start the first time i start it up, even if i rode it that morning and it has been sitting for 5 or so hours. I know they say carburated bikes do this. Anyone else have this problem. Do you think high octane boost might clear some of this up. Oh also i have only had it for a few weeks so it it has been kind of cold too but the other day it was in the low fifties and it still did it. I have an 03 zx-636 with about 4200 miles???? if you think it is good to try this what brand would you use

Welcome the forums.

If it's a stutter that goes away later after warming up, it's definitely not a problem with too little octane. I'm not sure what it is though. You might try some HEAT water remover in case there's some moisture in the tank.

There was another thread twhere some one had this sort of a problem with an 06 636 and I have the same problem as of recently. Either water in the gas or throttle body issues. Try a product called RXP. I am getting ready to try it on my bike. Here is the thread I was talking about. https://www.kawasakiforums.com/m_75896/tm.htm
Oh ya welcome to the KF family. Also where do you store your bike and what octane are you using at 90 octane is required.

Try the RXP just incase there is some water in the fuel. Gas now of days ethinol in it which by what I have read in these forums attracts water or something like that. Hope it helps. And I will post if it works on my bike.

I started it yesterday and it started right up, i didn't ride it though so im not sure if it will still hesitate a little but it might have just been a case of bad gas, or gas that has been sitting to long.
