Hey guys got a ?
Its been a while since i've posted, but heres my question.. I had my powercommander hooked up wrong to where it was giveing it 100% throttle or at least telling it was giving 100% all the time but ran fine... i finally tore the bike apart and connected to the right wire and it runs like a bat outta hell now, but from 3,500-4,000 rpms, about my crusing rpms in town it has a terrible miss in it but ubove that and below that runs awesome... think its the plugs or did i muck something up when it was hooked up wrong?
Your throttle wasn't reset or Zero'd. Best to change the plugs and run some RXP through it. It will decarbonize the combustion chamber & valves due to the rich mixture. However with the miss at that RPM, it seems the Mapping isn't right. You may want to have it custom mapped or try a differnt map.
the bike has two bros exhaust and a k&n filter on it and the map is for that exhaust and filter.. i've erased it out and redownloaded it like 10 times.. but i'll pull the plugs and put in some newbies.. any suggestions on what plugs to run? i've been running a NGK cold plug in my turbo bike but i dont know what would be good for a street everyday bike
