Congrats on the bike [sm=happy046.gif] I have the carbon two brothers exhaust on my bike and it is sweeeeet!! As for muzzy i heard that they make Kaw's stock exhaust so they should know a thing or two about the 05 636. I dont know much about akrapovic but alot of people in this form seem to like it. It looks sweet also. As for the full exhaust, if you want the max power and sound go for the full. If you want some power and basiclly just want your bike to sound sweet then save the $$ and go for the slip-on. If your going to race go for the full.

What color bike? Post some pics and welcome to the forum

I got a brand new full race arrow exhaust on my bike. its a really sweet piece and you can take out the baffles if you want by just removing a inner cir clip. Its nice for taking it out to the track or if you just want to make LOTS of noise. It only cost me 650 bucks canadian. Dont know what the exchange rate is right now but that's a pretty good price.

By my understanding the new 636's have full titanium exhaust factory... correct me if im wrong but there really isnt much of a point to spend $1600.00 on a full exhaust when there isnt THAT much of a power/weight difference, so just to ask for my opinion i would say go with a slip on and a power commander... Yes they say muzzy has the best exhaust for kawisaki's, but damn, their slip on is like $700+!! I got my micron for $500.00 and i like it just fine.

around 5hp over stock and atleast 13lbs lighter for full systems are the numbers floating all over everyones website....so I must be some what true....

it may be titanium from the factory, but the routing and the form of the header is more tuned in full systems of over the stock design.

what?! 13 lbs lighter? i dont understand the factory... they say these bikes are "race ready" but its little stuff that they dont do like that is what throws me off. I kinda assumed since it already had titanium that you couldnt possibly get that much lighter, but i guess its possible.

Zxta6rr the Evo Akrapovic exhaust system is suppose to be pretty good,in cycleworld they had it rated in the top 5 exhaust systems you can get for the new zxrr,im interested in seeing your post as to what the 'dyno' is going to be before and after the power commander....

last year when I went to dyno my bike the guy running the dyno said that kawi invest a lot of time and money in there header pipes and when changing to a full system most lose HP
I have also read some were that the new FI bike are not gaining and hp with the new pips and remapping..

I would go with a slip-on and remap the system..
