hey everyone im looking to find out how difficult it would be to stick a zx10 engine on my 2006 zx6r and if you dont think that is possible maybe you can help me with my other problem of 2nd and 3rd gear being gone

i was just looking this same thing up last night, and i ran into alot of people saying its a bad idea because the 6r frame cant handle it. youd have to reinforce you frame and arm, and make new mounts. the overall opinion ended up being, as redmonster says, "Buy a zx10"

 

by the time you invest the money into doing this you could have bought a zx10, some new gear and boots. If you really want a sleeper 6r, mount your 6r plastics on a zx10

 

thanks yall i orderd the tranny parts and a SI stunt cage some new sprockets and chain and i plan to pick up a used 10 in the next couple months id like an 08 or newer because the new body style rocks my socks
