Dual Hdlht Mod DIY 03-06 ZX6R/RR & 04-05 ZX10's Done!
 

I finally finished posting the DIY for the Dual headlight Mod for the ZX6R/RR & ZX10's. Read on and I hope that I made it easy and clear to do. Please PM me with any Questions/ Requests and I'll post a FAQ for the mod. This will provide excellent lighting in the Daytime and especially at Night! FOR YOUR SAFETY! Here are some pics. The Red one (My bike) had stock H4's from my old 85 Ninja 600R and the Black 06 has the Hyper white 60/55watt H4's in the kit. it does not apply to my bike, but I read it anyway. Looks like a very easy to understand and do mod. Awesome dude...

as detailed as it was, i still dont know if i would attempt it. great job on the post man.

do you notice if the lens pattern has an effect; making one shoot higher up all the time even with the h4 conversion bulbs?

No, I adjusted both Low and High beams to be at the same level (Very Easy to do) so it doesn't Blind anyone until you turn on the High beams. That will blind drivers or get their attention. With both low beams on, it's just like stock except with a lot wider light spread and much Brighter White light. With the High beams on, Well you just have to see it; No more leaning into dark turns. Actually, there's no more leaning into dark turns period even with low beams on. Whereas before, if you made a RH turn you wouldn't see very well in the dark and the LH turns weren't lit very well either. But now, no problem. LET ME LIGHT THE WAY!

FYI: With the seperate reflectors on the 03-06 ZX6R/RR's & the ZX10's, they are adjustable independently from each other, so getting the beams to be at the same level is no problem.
