i went out to purchase a crash cage . from 905 racing . the instuctions require 2 drill .... yikes ... through the farings ? has anyon e ever heard of this

drilling, yes, some require a 1 1/4 hole in the fairing to keep the cage solid mounted to the frame or where ever.

as far as cage or sliders, what are you trying to do ? what type of riding ?

just want 2 protect her !i guess if have 2 drill i will but just scare2 . ive seen a cage out there from powers stunters no drilll ing but i guess a cage is a cage

how long have you been riding and what type of riding do you do ?

you would be safe with a cage then, but remember when you start to really get into a turn, the cage will scrape the ground, hell the older zx6r's would drag the sides of the motor. when you get to that point, youll need to go with sliders. along with the cage, look into a set of rearsets, some swingarm spools and a set of bar sliders. youll be safe from falls but if you actually dump it at speed, your screwed, it could cartwheel and whatever else.
