I have a Scorpion carbon fiber slip-on for my 06 ZX6-R. It sounds and looks great. I have only one question why has my gas mileage gone to ****? I am only getting 100 miles per tank. I just ordered my Power Commander and I was told that would help with the problem. Does any one have any sugesstions on this matter?

 

A PC should help that. You opened up the exhaust a little so it could breath easier, and now the computer is not sure how much fuel to dump. The PC will re program that, and should fix it up.

$430 are you looking into getting a Scorpion exhaust? If so make sure you get the euro version they usually are special order and take a couple of weeks to get in. I will post some pics as soon as I can figure out how to get them on here.

 

has your driving style changed since you put this exhaust on? that has a lot to do with what kind of mpg you get. when i first installed my toys, i was lucky to see 100 miles before my light came on. i just kept twisting more and more cause i loved the way the bike sounds and pulled. this could be some of your problem?!

 

Not really but I can smell gas in the exhaust though.

looks good man. I put a PCIII, pipe and K&N on mine and my light does not come on until 145-150 mi. hopefully the PCIII does the trick.

 

Thanks that is what I am hoping. I plan on doing my wire mod and pcIII this weekend. If you look at this pic of the tip is pretty cool it is the euro edition of the scorpion c/b it has the larger tip three inches across I.D.
