Whats the difference between carbon fiber and plastic? the carbon fiber seem to be a bunch cheaper, is it just cause they look carbon-fibery instead of glossy that they are cheaper?

 

Usually CF stuff is more expensive than plastic. Are you sure CF is cheaper. There is fake CF also ansome companies like Puig try to sell it for the real CF prices.

 

Yeah Real carbon fiber fairings is not cheap at all!! The difference is that Carbon fiber is Lighter and stonger!!Now that fake carbon fiber look-a-like is prolly cheaper!!

 

Real Carbon Fiber looks 3D and the fake carbon fiber looks just like a black and gunmetal checker board.

 

ic, whats the difference between OEM fairings and just buying fairings from kawasaki?

 

OEM= original equipment manufacture , so oem and buying fairings from kawi is the exact same

way much more than what, than the carbon? or between kawi and oem parts on ebay?

 

unless it states its a oem replacement part then its suppose to fit like oem but it usually dont. what parts are you looking for ?

 

lower right fairing, mid right fairing, and tail section in black for an 06 636. my friend and i bought our bikes at the same time and when we were riding the other day some idiot slammed on his breaks then swerved into our lane not seeing him, my friend breaked instead of swerving and clipped the back of the guys car with his tire. his bikes all scratched up but hes perfectly fine, just a few bruses. i saw the whole thing happen and after i made sure my friend was ok was about ready to kill the guy.
