Can I lower the seat height on a 98 ZX6R ?
Hi,
I have just bought a 1998 Ninja ZX 6R, but i can't get my feet flat on the ground when sitting on it.
Is there a way to lower the seat height?
Thanks
Jacko

Thanks for the help guys!
I dont want to alter my seat just yet, but the other option of the lowering links sounds interesting.
How do I know what type of ZX6R I have? I know it's a 98 model but I have seen people quoting things like " J1 -J4" "B1-B2 "G1-2" etc.... Any ideas?
Thanks for all the help.
And 768 Ryda.. Do you live in the UK?

zx6 is a E6
oh, and thicker boots to solve height prob...... Lower you put the bike the less bendin you can do.
I just picked up the same bike about a month ago. It came with the Rear 3 position lowering link and one of the previous owners dropped the front forks about 1.5". I plan to return it to stock hight since I'm over 6' tall but it's not that hard to lower the bike.
Cheers.
Cheers.
