new to the site and also new to the ninja so bear with me cause im sure there will be alot more quetions to follow since this bike i just got needs alot of work.....

my 1st ? is when looking up stuff for this bike are there many differances in all the fairing peices between the "E" model and all the others? right now im having a hard time understanding why they have so many dif letters such as mine compared to a D, C, B etc so any help on that would be really appriciated.

next ? for the day is i have a peice missing under the seat and havent been able to figure out what it is yet. there are 2 bungee type straps toward the rear behind the fuse box and on the ride side (facing front of bike) it appears a small box is missing but the other piece that the fuel lines run to is still there. any ideas on what this would be so i know what i need to get before i carry on to everthing thing else i gotta get over the winter?

one more thing....does anyone know of a site with detailed diagrams of the "E" series cause parts fish dont have that model in there line up?

Ninjas were made almost the same for years, my service manual covers 89-95 and has about 4 models each has it little changes but are basically the same bike. In addition, compare the next year 96-2001 a few models covered there as well.

The missing part not sure without a picture to see.
