2nd gear problems on 96 ZX6-R?

I've heard about all the 2nd gear issues on the ZX6-D/E but to the R models suffer from the same issues? I need a quick response, Im going to look at one tommorow! Thanks!

i got a 95 zx6r and have no issues with any of my gears

95 zx6r here and no problems - but the 98-00 Rdo have a history of 2nd gear issues. its from a worn shift fork on second. if you let it go too long it can cause the engagement dogs on 2nd gear to wear out. the forks aren't expensive but its going to be a pain to pull the engine to replace em.

I have a 96 ZX-6R with 30 K and have no problems with second gear
