'07 ZX6r fork springs? Rear spring?

Hi,
Does anyone knowwhat kg the fork springs will be? What about the rear spring?
I'd be interested to know since I am roughly 180lbs. The new GSXR comes with .90's which is great. Hoping Kawasaki did something similar.

Also: Unrelated question: Can the transmission be serviced without breaking the block?

not sure on the spring rate on the 07 but the specs should be somewhere on the net. as far as the tranny, service meaning what ? if you need to go internal, you have to split the case. welcome to the forums.

Welcome to KF. The transmission oil is the same as the engine oil (same oil in the same case) so when you change the engine oil, you're also changing the transmission oil. Check on the first ride articles written about the 07 for the spring rates or you may have to contact Kawasaki for that info.

Whatcha talking about Willis!!!
Fork spring .90kg, roughly 180 lbs (without gear?) with unknown wt fork oil. You could actually set your sags on the front with this number?

He had asked about transmission oil change.:D

Also, in the early days you had to adjust dampening by changing the fork oil weight, but now there are cute little knobs & screws to adjust that with. I think the fork oil viscosity is 5 weight. The preload is easily adjusted on top of the forks. Set your ride height and sag and you should be good to go.
