07 Projector headlamps on an 05
 

Hey guy / girls! New to the forum and proud owner of an 05 zx6r. But ive seen a couple of mods that were done that people have taken TSX projectors and change the OEM headlamps into HID w/ projectors. Im pretty sure that I could do this mod, but I was talkin to a friend and was thinkin of modding the 07 headlights to fit my 05 thinkin it would be less of an effort to set up and aim and a wholelot less work. Is this a pos. or just a pipe dream?

i dont know but im intrested...i really would like to see a how to on a tsx projector kit. i have a h7 hid kit and i know the 07 6r takes a h11 so i dont want to go that route.

Guess nobody know or has done this mod. If anybody has any info on this mod PLEASE POST IT!

The 07 ZX6R projector headlights are low beamLH side & high beam RH side (May have the sides mixed up). The way the headlight are designed, you won't be able to have both sides on and it look the same. One side has the bottom half of the projector covered & the other side the top half is covered. You would have to heat & seperate the headlight assembly to make any mod like that to either the 05 or the 07 headlights.
