I have a 2007 Ninja ZX6R. Pretty much bone stock. I last rode the bike about 2-3 months ago and the bike ran fine. Fast fwd to last week, went to start the bike...nothing. Dead battery. Put a slow trickle charge on the battery overnight. Next day went to start it. Starter rotated, but sounded weak. Jumped bike battery with standard car battery. Starter rotated nice and strong - but engine still will not fire. Doesn't even sound like there's any spark or anything in the cylinders. The starter motor just rotates and that's it. Bike had no electrical or starting issues prior to the last ride. Can anyone help me out with this!??? Is there a way for an average home mechanic to check or do I need to spend the big bucks and have it looked at professionally??
