Yeah, I have dealt with them once before. They sent me the wrong color hugger 2 times then finally refunded my money. I got the Carbon one because it was cheap; got what I paid for; $90 I think. There was another guy in England who was making the Hotbodies Hugger in Carbon but I don't see him selling anything anymore.

 

if your wanting one u have a CF hugger that im getting rid of cause im streaching my bike and think it will look goffy with the hugger 6" away from the tire. if interested pm me.

 

Did you know that Pit-eck actually makes an exhaust system?? Crazy - they have zero R&D competency. My 2001 F4i's undertail hardly fit, the finish was crap and the turn signals were indiscernible. Their windshield was fantastic though - and cheap - go figure. I'm actually thinking about buying their carbon fibre heat shield for my 2005 636's stock muffler (which I love stock). Am I crazy?

 

Anyway, THIS is the hugger I want. Magma Red, side grilles anodized in gold, stout - perfect. Any idea who makes these in 2005 red?

Yes, except that they don't offer them in red. That one in the photo might have been painted, but I'm not about to attempt that. Magma Red is an extremely complex blend - you need to strike the perfect balance between pearl white and translucent red, followed by a lot of clearcoat to get it up to Kawi's standard. I might just have to buy a HotBodies hugger, but I'm not crazy about the style they make.
