Has anyone else noticed a little running rust under the seat on the gas tank? Mine probably stands out a little more since its the pearl white special edition. Its coming from the metal bracket welded to the tank under the seat and the clips the seat latch onto. I'll show a picture tomorrow when there's light out.

 

Do you keep your bike outside? I would take the seat off, clean off rust with acetone being real careful not to get acetone on the tank or other painted surfaces. Tape news paper all around the rust spot to protect the bike from over spray, and hit it with some spray clearcoat. You may find some that can be brushed on as well. Or you could just use some Kaw touch up paint if you have that and the rust spot isn't huge.
Rust sucks!
