I have a 2001 zx12r that surges at idle, has anyone else experienced this? My bike has full RS-2 race system (yoshimura) muzzy advancer, k and n filters, yoshi EMS, and some other minor mods, this bike is unreal off idle but at idle it surges 300-400 rpm up and down and has done so since puting on the pipe and filters, I'm running a custom map that truly kicks *** on the mid and top but cant seem to get the surge out at the bottom, since coming to Hawaii and dropping to sealevel it has gotten worse. Anyone experience problems like this before?

 

i've heard of the kleen air mod causing this sometimes.. that, and exhaust mods freak out the ECU ocassionally.. i read up on it on ZX12R.org i think.. i'll see if i can find specifically what it is..

you got the kleen air mod, as well? i think that surging is hit or miss on alot of bikes.. somes guys experience it.. some don't.
