Just bought a 97 ZX11, any thing I need to know about it. thats not good.

I got it from a buddy of mine.

He said he liked it, but now he wants a Busa.

 

Congrats on the bike! Don't know much about them personally, you might want to do a search on the net to see what you find.

 

Great bike one of the first and best litere class bikes. Put a turbo on and watch what happens to your friend busa

 

im been tring 2 post just can't find it. Soooooooo here I go i have a 98-zx11 that is fast. i want 2 know how to get more power. i have light pockets. and want 2 stop the 3rd rod from going up its in the shop 4 that now. i want 2 do some mods while it is apart. anyone help if u can thanks

A buddy of mine has the same bike, and it is FAST!! Lots of engine work done. He had a shop in the DFW area do it. Lots of headwork done to that thing. What kind of work do you have done to it now? Full exhaust, Carbs, lightened up?

You want to make it fast? Pull the engine, ship it to a custom shop, and have them go thru it. Maybe add a turbo. YES!! NOS? maybe.. Do you want to keep up with that 1000 gixer on top speed or outrun speed?
