Finally got out to ride my bike today, man it's nice.

Hooked up with my brother, which recently purchased an 05 Busa.

4th gear 75mph we kick em, instanly he left me bad... within 2-3 seconds he pulled me by at least 8-10 bike lengths.

The bad thing is mine just got tuned, and is running great.

But what can I say, I still am amazed at the power mine has, but Busa's are in a class of there own.

Well , my brother cheated, and didn't tell me till just now.

He was in 3rd gear while I was in 4th, I knew in the back of my mind, it just shouldn't have turned out the way it did.

Anyway we just got back from ridin, and we did it again, this time we both were in 6th gear at 75 mph, took em both up to bout 140mph, he pulled me very, very slowly by less than half a bike, more like just the front tire, and I honestly think I was gaining it back very slowly after about 130mph, but we had to shut em down.

Then we tryed 5th gear, again at 75mph, up to about 130mph, he ended up pulling me by just 1 bike, no more than that.

So now i'm a happy camper.

 

This is a little off the subject, and possibly in the wrong section, but can anyone tell me the 1/4 mile et. and mph. of a 2005 suzuki gsxr 750?

This is a 04 but they will be very very close to each other 127..3 hp @12,750 rpms 68.0 @ 10,700 rpm tq. 1/4 mile is 10.39 @135.0 mph 60-80 mph top gear roll on is 3.56 seconds wet weight is 434lb hope that helps the 05 is about 20lb lighter and a few more hp I think

 

Thanks for the stats on the suzi c10, looks like me and a buddy at work are gonna have to line em up sometime, that's impressive for a 750, but the weight is where he gets me.

I personaly don't think I could turn these #'s but supposedly mine will run 10.42@133.02 / 129 hp. @10,000 / 78.4 ft. lbs. @ 8200, but jets & muzzy may help me a little.

Should be fun to find out.

 

Can't really compair a ZX11 and a Busa performance wise. You say the Busa is in a class of its own? There is a new contender in town.. Check out this Video.
