Default Loss of all Power on my 10r

So it was a very nice day here in North Texas. Got the bike out. Rode it for a few hours and then out of no where I had power. Im heading out to the garage now to pull the seat and check Fuse's and the Battery. Have no idea why this has happen. Rode fine and I didnt even ride it had the whole time I was on it. Just normal riding.

Any input would help. I will be back and forth from the computer today for trouble shooting.

It was a blown 30 amp fuse under the tank.

A 30 amp is not a simple fuse to be blowing. But congrats on the find.

I agree...there could be a short somewhere...the 30 just doesn't blow...I would pull the plastics and pop the tank up and then check the wiring...

Okay here is what the problem. My HID box was rubbing the ign harness clip and made 3 wires raw to where they grounded out. I heat shrank everything and Zip tied down the hid box. now everything is all good and running. I put 100 miles on it today with out a problem.

man it wasnt that easy. I was hooking my voltage meter all over all my aftermarket mods until I traced it to the nose of the bike. Thats when I see the raw wires and then remembered there is a extra inline fuse under the tank. But yeah. I did all the work under a car port in the nice Texas rain. Is was great.
