I came home on lunch and found my new seat cowl waiting for me on the back step. I had it put on before going back to work, and I love the look it gives the bike.Attachment 31389

RE: Seat cowl installed
Looks sweet!! Where did you get it? Also, looks like you removed the rear flap?

RE: Seat cowl installed
I got it from Ninja650Shop.com, it cost $199 for it to be color matched to my bike. The fender eliminator was the first thing I did to my bike when I got it, other than the frame sliders. I just got finished putting my new Muzzy exhaust on the bike and I am waiting for my wife to get home so I can take it for a ride. Hopefully she will be home soon to watch the kids because I started it up after installing it and it sounds alot better.

RE: Seat cowl installed
Sweet looking Bike man. do the feet get warm when riding?
|
RE: Seat cowl installed
My right foot does get warm, but not enough to make it uncomfotable. I took it for a ride to show my friends at work, and when I was leaving I started my bike people across the street (a four lane) turned to look. In this small town where I live people expect to hear a rumbling exhaust on a harley, not a sport bike. I am going out later to go riding later to enjoy it some more.

RE: Seat cowl installed
hell yea that looks alot better. now all you need to do is hike that tail up a little higher in the air.

RE: Seat cowl installed
I wish I could, but I am 5'5" and with my Icon boots on I can only get the ball of my foot on the ground. Sucks to be short sometimes because I sat on quite a few bikes before I bought this one and it was the one I could touch the best with and feel comfortable.

RE: Seat cowl installed
Bike looks good.. I just heard back the seat cowl I designed for the 650R should be released in the next couple months.
