Hey, Deej...You caught in my opening post that I owned a KLX250S last year, right? I "know" of you from that forum, but I never joined/posted....LOVED the bike, but had to sell it for the $ when I moved out to Chitown. Decided that a street orientated bike would be better for these highways etc., and I'm right. Just thought i'd say "hey" to ya.

that is a sweet looking bike, and really if you enjoy that bike more than the KLX then that's what its all about man. Have fun and you can always pick up a used DS bike later on down the road.

Nice bike. I actualy like it so much I went out and bought my 08 Black 650 on monday. I hate to tell you though, I paid 6500 OTD. I only bring it up because I was able to find invoice prices for all motorcycles online. They tell you the invoice price and the REAL freight charges and set up fees that Kawasaki recommends dealers to go by. Just some info to share for all of you interested in buying a new bike. I will post the website after I find it again. Congrates on the bike though. I love mine so far.

I just bought a 650R black for less then 6500 otd as well, heres the link to the place I bought it from.

if you look down the list to the 650R, its 5,699 there price before everything.
I dont have the bike yet though, its being shipped from another dealer location.
Im sure if I did financing I would be well over 7k.

I got a 08 650R in red. I really like the black and that was my first choice but went with the red. I have to post what I paid not to rub it in but because I think I finally got a good deal on something $6000 OTD.
How much does that windscreen cut down on the wind in your face I really get hit hard at highway speed?
