Hey everybody. I currently have a 2005 500R. A guy that lives around me has a SV650 that I took for a ride the other day and loved the low roar of the v-twin and the power of that. I just think it wasn't as refined as even my 500R. The placement of the shift lever seemed weird, and it just felt a little clumsy. I've sat on 650R's at the dealerships but they won't let youi test ride them unless you've got $6400+ in cash/financing... basically ready to buy one. I'd like to ride one even if it's just for a few miles. I'd like to buy a Blue 07' with low miles on it so if anyone is selling theirs let me know. I'm also scanning the forums at ninja650.com so they have a special forum for selling/trading there. Anyway, I'm in the Lansing, Michigan area if any of you are close or plan on making a trip through this way I'd be happy to meet up with you within about 100 miles. Have any of you ridden the sv650 also? Does it feel a little clumsy/less refined than the 650R? Later.
