Cool Can't Wait!

Greetings! This is my first time on here and wanted to bounce some tings off ya'll.
First off, I am HOPEFULLY getting a 650R in the next week. Looking at a 06 with the Galaxy Silver paint-very nice IMO. This will be my first endeavour into the sport-bike world as right now am just putting along on my roommate's Honda 550 Four. Yeah it's old but fun.
So I decided to jump into something a little more modern (his is a '74!) and with all the commuting I do on a daily basis for work (70/day), I figured the 650R is a good way to go.
I sat on it at the dealership and was impressed on it's more relaxed riding position. The bars though, need to be lowerd since I have a wing-span of a Condor. hahahaha
My question is that I am almost 6'4' tall and was wondering if my height will be affected by wind and such.
If I do end up getting the bike, I plan on getting a double-bubble windscreen.

Any thoughts/insights would be appreciated.

Well first of all welcome to the forums. Second there will be someone on soon that I'm fully confident will answer your question with the greatest accuracy. Third...stop by the new members page and post a new thread introducing yourself so that everyone is given an opportunity to give you a big ol KF welcome.

Welcome to KF. Sit on the bike and see if it will fit your needs.

Welcome to the forum. I think you'll be fine with the wind. If you were like 7 feet then we might have a problem, but people who are 7 feet tall should consider monster trucks instead of bikes anyway. After reading a little bit I've found that a lot of people don't like the bars, but there's aftermarket bars that are fairly easy to install. Hope you get to enjoy that bike.

For commuting the MRA screen is much better than something that you have to really tuck behind.
