Zero gravity tour shield
I put one on my ZX9R, but only because the 9R's stock screen was too low for my dog. The 500R's stock screen is sufficiently tall though and my dog was quite protected from the direct windflow.
The overall quality of these screens is not as good as stock, though the optics (the clearness of of the plexigas) is indeed clearer than the stock molded plastic. They really don't add much protection to an upright rider, since they only add about 2-4 inches to the screen height.
They're not bad for a track day when you're ducking beneath the screen and actually looking through it, but for normal road use, they're not that useful IMO.
Good luck.

I have one of the Zero Gravity Touring screens on my 500R. Email me and I can shoot you back some pictures of it if you want. Pushes the wind up to middle of my helmet (I'm 5"10) and gets it off my chest. Quite a bit more protection than stock. Got it for like $60.00 including shipping from zgoutlet.com and could not see any blemish in it at all. jwach@megavision.com
Now the temps are hitting the 30s here the additional screen protection is very nice to have. Mine pushed the stream from my chest to the lower edge of my helmet, I'm 6-00. Very good piece that fit very well also, I used the tinted one as you really look over it anyway and it took away some of the cheap look of the stocker. Jim.
