Default Windscreen vis.

I'm going to order a windscreen for my bike. I'm debating between smoked and dark smoke. I'd like dark smoke since its a black bike, but i'm worried about visability tucked down on the highway. I just gotthe bike and have only ridden on backroads close to my house (no permit yet) so i'm not sure what my best option would be. Any input would be appreciated!

no clue, i spray painted the inside of mine so i can't see out of mine at all. anyways, i tried after this was brought up and i can't even bend over enough comfortably to look through the windscreen anyways.

MasterJ220, I installed a dark smoke ZeroGravity windscreen a few months back. I have a picture in my gallery if you want to check it out. To follow up what Steve said, I wouldn't worry too much about visibility. On the 500 the windscreen is pretty much for wind, not for looking through. Even when I "tuck-in" on the freeway on windy days, my eyes are not low enough to see through the windscreen. BTW the ZeroGravity looks cool, but its thinner than the stock shield so the fit isn't quite as good as it could be. I'd recommend one of the other makes....

Have fun!
