i got some spark plugs along with some other parts online and i looked them up on the NGK website and they say the ones i have are meant for the canada engine. whats the difference from the canada engine to the US one? by the way i have the NGK DR9EA. thanks, john

RE: spark plugs
I didn't realize the engines were different. Maybe it is due to all the emissions regulations.
Here's a link to NGK's website and what they recommend for plugs http://www.ngkspark.com.au/part_inde...hicle_type.htm |
RE: spark plugs
I installed iridium plugs in my CA 1995 500. I wanted plugs that I wouldn't have to look at again for a long time. If I have any problems I will post them.

RE: spark plugs
I believe bluebird maybe right about the emissions, but climate differences can also be a factor too. Canadian models may use a hotter plug due to it's cooler temps and vice versa.
