New to me EX500 - tires

I'm back in the EX500 range after selling my '03 500 for a ZX7 then crashing that a couple months later!

Anyway the new to me bike is a 94 and looks/runs great. I'm wondering if the tires are suitable for twisty roads. They have plenty of tread, but I'm not sure about the application of the tires. They are bridgestone Battlax BT45r 130/70-17 on the rear, and Battlax BT45r 110/70-17 on the front.

Are these OK for riding the twisties?

Here's a pic of the new ride :)

RE: New to me EX500 - tires

They should be fine, but start out easy. I've used those before and the front tire is more rounded (less peaked), so the handlebar inputs feel slightly dulled by comparison. But on the plus side they do feel more stable when the bike is leaned over, IMO. AND they last longer than the stock tires that come on the bike.
Sadly we cannot get the stock tires that come on the bike because Dunlop only makes them for Kawasaki, not for the American market.
There are no really-good tires available for our bike like the Dunlop D209 or D207. But what this bike lacks in available traction, we make up for with flickability.
Have fun and wear your gear!

P.S. Glad you survived the crash with the 7R and are riding again.

Are you referring to the Pirelli - Sport Demon tires? Why are they superior? Just a better compound?
