Hey Fellow Riders...

I am getting a new exhaust for my 07 500R. I would like your opinion on what exhaust is the "Best". I know this is mostly opinion based, so I would like to know WHY you think it is the best, too...

i cant tell you right now but when i get my sarachus in the mail in a little bit, i ordered them im so happy ill give you my input

 

I just got a set of carbon fiber sarachus. Looks HOT on the black bike. Also sounds awesome. I was a little scared of how loud it was at first, but that's just because the stock ones were so quiet. I had to bend the included brackets that mount to the footpegs in order to get them on. Let me know if you have the same problems 05blk.

Kevlar - I don't know what is the "best", but the sarachus:

were real easy to put onto the bike (20-30 minutes)
didn't require the permanant removal of the center stand (I know a few 2 to 1 exhausts do)
made the bike sound mean
Isn't obnoxiously loud, but loud enough to inform the driver next to you, possibly on a cell phone that you are there.

Aluminum will be the least expensive, but will start showing signs of wear in 2-3 years (obviously the elements can affect this time frame)
Stainless will last the longest and is supposedly heavier, but i believe the sarachus are the same weight.
CF is the lightest and will cool the fastest, but i do believe the CF will fade after time as well - but i absolutely love the way it looks on my black 05. I will post pics soon.

I believe D&D also has a set of slipons for the ninja 500, but i don't know much about them.
