Default Mirrors are difficult to move/adjust

I am new to all of this and figuring stuff out along the way. My bike is stored right now with a cover - the mirrors were laid flat (towards the bike) in order to get the cover on. I wanted to adjust them the other day but couldn't budge them. Granted, I am a girl and not terribly strong, but I need to be able to adjust my mirrors without help. Any thoughts on this? Help appreciated!

pull harder ! try grabbing the mirror by the shaft, if you look close at it there might be a rubber plug hiding a bolt that you can loosen and move the mirror to where you want it then tighten it back up. dont forget to tighten it because at speed and having your mirror slap back and break sucks.

Thanks! Took off the rubber caps and loosened them up just a bit - much more adjustable now.
