disc lock....
Hey, I got my disc lock from where I got the bike... it's one of the OnGuard Disc Locks....
Thing is, I don't think they sold me the right one, since it doesn't go thru the circular holes on the disc.....
The only place I could put it was on the bigger holes on the disc, did they sell me the wrong lock???
Please see the pic of what I'm talking about and let me know your opinion if I got the wrong lock or is it right and I'm putting it where it need to be (which I think is not right)...????
thanks, d.

Kali,
It looks like the lock is not supposed to go into the little holes.

Glad to see you finally got it... Congrats

Just dont be forgetting its there, like your walking to your bike with some cutie and you get caught up and for get its on, you will not look cool laying on the ground after you do not remove the lock and try to take off.
It is soposed to be going through the large opening in the disc. GL

thanks guys, so it's supposed to move around freely there???
i will try taking pictures tomorrow and posting what it looks like on the bike.....
mine is the 5049 version of the lock, not sure if that makes any difference or not from the 5050 one......

Yup! the pin won't go through the vent holes drilled in the disc. I use the orange spiral cable as a reminder that I have the lock on teh bike. I keep one end attached to the lock, the other goes over the right grip so when I'm going throught the "FINE-C" prior to starting my bike I will see that the lock is still attached.
good to know I got the correct stuff....
my friend told me about the times he would start going and ooppssss, lock was still on!!! LOL not looking forward to that at all.....
