Default Another Tour!!!(Fl-Tn)

Yes!!!

I've been waiting to get some touring done outside florida for what seems like ages. I am leaving tommorow from hot and humid florida to the more favorable tennessee highlands. Weapon of choice: 2004 ex500 now with 11900 miles, 10000 more from 8 months ago. My brother got a 95 ex500 (milage unknown but greater than 20000) and he wants me to tune back into youth with my newly aquired technical skills*. He said it runs well but do to the terms of the purchase ($800 sticker price) leaves me skeptical on the state of the machine. I'll see when I get there. We planed on doing some light in state touring but then I heard the word sturgis...

uggghh. Regardless of how I feel out about the atmosphere of the event and the less than colorful cast of characters that will be present, the prospect of adventure is as enticing as ever. I have a month to decide anyway. The important thing is I will finally be able to get some mountain riding in ;maybe back to the blueridge???

I'll try to take some pics but They will be of the way down because I am doing a night assault tomorrow to avoid the heat and cagers.

....and remember give some scooters the finger they make us look bad

Sturgis is nothing to be afraid of. It's mostly a bunch of aging orthodontists and paralegals playing outlaw for a week (after trailering their bikes there of course.)
"What kind of bike is that you've got there."
"'93 Moo-glide"
"Well that's a fine machine."

Have fun & ride safely.
