Is there any significant spec difference between the 2007, 2006, and 2005 models ??

Also, were there any significant improvements on this model since 2000 ??

I have not critiqued the difference, but the factory service manual does have supplements in one manual that covers 1994-2007. Most likely color changes

not much has changed on the 500 for years. the supplment drag is talking about i beleive is on euro models. welcome to KF

Ah cool, thanks ! Yah, I thought it was only really the colors. Just trying to find a good deal on a first bike.

From what I see, not just the EU models hd although I still have only glimsed at the manuals and cannot stay too long on just one topic in KF. So that is another add to list item.
