500 used ninja stopped working
 

I've had my 500 for about a month and a half now. I haven't road on it in about 4 days the weather cleared up and went to go riding ant it won't crank. I put the key in put it to on the Neautral light lights up and the only thing that happens is a small rapid clicking noise about 7 inches above the driver foot pedel. Dead or dying battery? or somehow a starter problem? please help this noob out.

Your battery is strong enough to turn on the lights, which doesn't take much, but doesn't have enough juice to crank it over.
I recommend buying a Battery Tender Jr. (about $30), leaving it plugged into your battery (underneath the seat) overnight. Your bike should start right up the next morning.
If your battery is nearing the end of its life, it may need to be replaced also, but I recommend starting with the Tender since it's less expensive than buying a new battery, AND you'll eventually need it again.

Well got a slow battery charger and charged it for a day and it seemed to have more clicking but thats it. Then I charged it for about 4 days and same results. (Charger can not over charge) Now I guess I will go buy a new battery...

Sorry Mookb.
But now that you have the battery charger, you can charge the battery yourself.
Before you pay the dealership to do this, ask if they're charging you labor to fill and charge the battery. If so, tell them you don't want that. The instructions for filling the battery are very simple and printed on the box and your charger will work just as well as theirs.
